Cristiana Angelini
Cristiana Angelini studied Fine Art and Art History in Carrara and Florence before moving to England in the 1960s. Over the years she has had a number of solo exhibitions and has been included in mixed exhibitions at the Royal Academy and Whitechapel Gallery. In 1990 she was awarded first prize in the Laing Collection Exhibition for London and the South East and in 1995 her work was selected for inclusion in the world renowned Bridgeman Art Library collection. The 2006 Christmas exhibition is the first time that Cristiana’s work has been on show at the gallery and on this occasion will consist of still life and beach scene paintings. Below are four of the works that will be on show at the gallery from 30th November 2006.
