Richard Batterham was born in 1936 and became interested in pottery at a very early age. Fortunately he attended Bryanston School, where an interest in craft and design, including pottery was encouraged. After leaving school, Richard spent a year during 1957-8 at the Leach Pottery before moving back to Dorset where he has had his own pottery to this day. RETURN TO LEACH POTTERS EXHIBITION
