Thursday 29th November to Sunday 23rd December 2001

A lamp base by Waistel Cooper c1975.

A small lidded dish made by Jeremy Leach at the Lowerdown Pottery.

A vase by Margaret Rey - one of very few pots made by her after 1939. Forest Green c1950.

A handbuilt vessel form by Beverley Bell-Hughes.

A vase by Guy Sydenham for Poole Pottery (1970's) with Poole and personal seal.

A rectangular dish by John Maltby c1985.

From now until Christmas the Harlequin Gallery will not be holding an exhibition as such but will be offering a mix of both new and old work for sale from £5 upwards.

Items can be removed upon payment so that the stock will be ever changing (hopefully!).

Work by artists in the Artists section of this web site will be included but featured above are examples of miscellaneous older work also available. The images are only a small selection of the older work available and will be removed as soon as possible after being sold and replaced by other images (Note: updated at close of business on Friday 21st December). Nonetheless if you are going to visit the gallery for something specific it is best to telephone first.

There will also be a small showcase of new porcelain by Doris Mitchell available from 1st December. Details and examples of the work can be viewed by clicking here.

PAINTINGS & SCULPTURE

The paintings will include work by R.J. Lloyd (paintings & prints) and Laura Gethen Smith not included in their exhibitions at the gallery this year. Other painters featured will be Denis Bowen and Frances Treanor (both featured in the Artists section of this site) and William Crozier. Sculpture and paintings by Donald Wells, including work not previously exhibited at the gallery, will be available as well as sculpture by Tove Bowyer.
