Dan Kelly – ceramics & Gordon Crosby -paintings 7th to 28th May 2006
I think it is fair to say that the ceramics produced by Dan Kelly and Gordon Crosby are quite individual and unconventional but have a closer affinity to each other than any other pots that I have shown. Therefore it is fitting that my first exhibition of Gordon’s paintings, as opposed to his ceramic work, should accompany a new body of ceramics by Dan Kelly. Fate seems to have decreed this to be the case, as Dan’s exhibition was to have taken place earlier if health problems hadn’t prevented him from making work for much of last year. Thankfully, Dan has recovered and plans to make new work up to the last minute for this exhibition.
