Mike Dodd returns to exhibit at the Harlequin Gallery where he was the first potter to be shown when my predecessor, Trevor Coldrey, opened the gallery over 12 years ago. His last visit in 2000 was very successful and was chosen by Ceramic Review, the International Magazine of Ceramic Art and Craft, as the number one exhibition anywhere during November/December of that year. I have no doubt that the work on show this time will at the very least match that selection as Mike is extremely self-critical and will only allow what he perceives as his best work to be shown in his solo exhibitions.
