Harlequin Gallery

Iain Rutherford

Iain Rutherford was born in Hitchin, Hertfordshire in 1953 and trained as an artist at Goldsmiths' College, London in the 1970's. There he gained a degree in Fine Art, followed by his MA a few years later.

Iain has exhibited widely since the 1970's and also teaches and lectures in painting. However from an early age all Iain wanted to do was paint so that the teaching really has to take a back seat.

Iain's work has been exhibited in the Royal Academy of Art Summer Exhibition and has been shown by the Berkeley Square Gallery, Belgrave Gallery and Blond Fine Art in the past.

Successful Harlequin Gallery solo exhibitions of Iain’s work were held in July 2002 and November 2004 and his paintings are always available at the gallery.

Below are examples of small paintings that are in stock but please do not hesitate to contact us for more details or to ask about other work.
