Michael
Kenny was born in
Liverpool in 1941 and studied at Liverpool College of Art from 1959 until
1961. He then came to London to study at the Slade School of Fine Art and
throughout the 1970s he was a visiting lecturer there. For 5 years during the
1980s he was Head of the Fine Art Department at Goldsmith's College, London
but from then on concentrated on his sculpture and painting full time. He had many solo and group exhibitions in Britain and abroad,
including Europe, USA, South America, Japan, Hong Kong and Australia, which
has meant that many public and corporate collections throughout the world
hold examples of his work. |
