featuring the best work from Alan’s 2008 production alongside paintings by

Evangelidou Katerina’s
fourth Harlequin Gallery exhibition of her wood-fired sculptural vessel
forms. The Potters of Maze Hill An exhibition of current work by Lisa

A mixed exhibition of
pottery, paintings, prints and sculpture. Joanna Howells A solo exhibition of porcelain and for
the very first time stoneware. 3 Potters An exhibition of recent work by Deirdre
Burnett and Yuriko Hill, together with a small retrospective of pots by
Ursula Mommens, who was 100 years old in August. Svend Bayer A solo exhibition of his best pots
from recent firings. Gabriel Sempill &
Frank Fidler
An exhibition of Gabriel’s ceramic sculptures alongside a new selection of
Frank’s paintings from the late 1950s/early 1960s. Sculpture A mixed exhibition of sculpture in
ceramics and other media. Nancy Fuller & Peter
Swanson Nancy’s
wood-fired pots made during her stay in Shigaraki, together with new wood and
gas fired work from Peter, who has been potting in Cornwall since the 1970s. R.J. Lloyd & Douglas
Fitch
The fourth exhibition at the Harlequin of R.J. Lloyd’s paintings alongside
recent slipware from Douglas Fitch. Japanese Pottery A mixed selection of pottery but
concentrating on work from Mashiko, Hagi and Bizen, together with work from
Greenwich based potter Yoji Yamada. Alan Wallwork The best of Alan’s pots produced in
France during 2007. Christmas 2007 A mixed exhibition of new and older
work. Mike Dodd Recent Stoneware. Graham Ellerby, Adam Frew
& Jiri Duchek An exhibition of work by three wood-firing potters. St. Ives An exhibition of pottery and art from St.
Ives, including individual pieces of Leach Pottery by Bernard Leach, Janet
Leach and Bill Marshall. A London Eye An exhibition of paintings, prints,
sculpture and ceramics from London and the surrounding area. 3 Japanese Wood-firing
Potters An exhibition of work by Hajimu Kato, Marcus O’Mahony & Rachel Wood Wood-fired salt glazed pots from
Marcus together with Rachel’s distinctive ceramics. Robin Welch Robin’s first solo exhibition of
pottery and paintings at the Harlequin. Nic Collins Nic returns for another solo
exhibition of his wood-fired stoneware. Alan Wallwork An exhibition of the best work from his
first French firings. Christmas 2006 A mixed exhibition of pottery,
paintings and sculpture. Aki Moriuchi Her second solo Harlequin Gallery
exhibition and her last ever exhibition before retiring from potting. Phil Rogers The sixth solo exhibition of Phil’s
pots at the Harlequin, including for the first time in exhibition a selection
of wood-fired work. Svend Bayer The best of the work produced over the
last year from his new small wood-fired kiln. The Cardew Connection
pottery by Danlami
Aliyu, Ray Finch, Mark Hewitt, Michael O’Brien and other potters who have
worked with Michael Cardew. Denis Bowen (The Last Paintings)
+ Bizen & Shigaraki Pottery an exhibition of the last painting Denis produced
before his death earlier this year, together with an exhibition of pottery
from two of the old famous pottery centres of Japan. Dan Kelly & Gordon Crosby new stoneware and porcelain vessels
from Dan, together with paintings by Gordon. Keiko Hasegawa an exhibition of vases, tea ceremony
ware and tableware together with examples of Sho calligraphy by Shiryu Morita. Pottery from Cornwall a mixed exhibition of pottery both new
and old from Cornwall plus a few other items of art connected with the
county. Teabowls 06 Another mixed selection of teabowls and
yunomis from Japan, the UK and the States together with mezzotints by one of
the featured potters, Nobuo Okawa. Hitomi Akebi Shibata &
Adam Frew Two showcases of mainly wood-fired work
by Hitomi from Japan via USA and Adam Northern Ireland via England. Christmas 2005 A selection of ceramics, paintings and sculpture
with giving in mind. Jack Doherty A solo exhibition of porcelain. Deirdre Burnett &
Donald Wells Recent thrown and hand
built stoneware from Deirdre, together with paintings from 1965 to 1990 by
Donald Wells. Anne Mette Hjortshoj
& Nina Peskett Wood fired stoneware
and porcelain from Nina who works in England and Anne Mette from Denmark. R. J. Lloyd & Philip
Leach Works on paper by R.J.
Lloyd dating from 1950 to 1980, together with earthenware pottery by Philip
and Frannie Leach. Yuriko Hill & Amanda
Wallwork An exhibition of new hand
built ceramics by Yuriko together with “wall work” paintings by Amanda. Art in Britain 1945 to
1985
A mixed exhibition of paintings, pottery and sculpture
from the period, including items of pottery from the Alan Wallwork archive
plus a selection of paintings by Douglas Portway. Nic Collins Nic’s fifth solo exhibition of anagama fired stoneware at the
gallery. Teabowls a selection of teabowls from Japan, Korea, Germany and the United
Kingdom. Katerina Evangelidou
& Laura Gethen Smith An exhibition of new stoneware vessel forms by Katerina and
recent paintings and collages by Laura. Bizen Pottery A showcase of wood-fired pottery made in and around Bizen in
Japan. Christmas 2004 A mixture of ceramics, paintings and sculpture both old and new. Alan Wallwork & Iain
Rutherford An exhibition of the last
pots produced by Alan before his move to France together with recent
paintings by Iain exhibited under the title “Turning the Tide”. Aki Moriuchi .The first exhibition of ceramics from her new workshop in
Cornwall. Five Devon Potters. Launch of the book and an exhibition of work by the potters
featured - Tim Andrews, Svend Bayer, Clive Bowen, Bruce Chivers & Nic
Collins. Ursula Mommens &
Rachel Wood. Recent functional
ceramics by Ursula, together with Rachel's stoneware vessel forms. Frank Fidler & Janet
