Two of Tove Bowyer’s five sculptures available at the gallery during December 2005.

Tove Bowyer is a Danish born sculptor, who divides her time between her native country and her studio in London. She has exhibited in this country for over twenty years and, although she has always been involved with sculpture, the media that she has used has changed over the period.

Initially when she started exhibiting here she was making ceramic work and showed at such galleries as Amalgam in Barnes and the Peter Dingley Gallery. She has also shown her work over the years at Primavera in Cambridge when it was under the ownership of Ronald Pile.

The Harlequin Gallery usually has work by Tove in stock and currently this comprises of her carved stone work, with examples of some of the work currently available shown above.

Recent Harlequin Gallery mixed exhibitions have feature her early ceramic work and carved wood, which makes up a large proportion of her current work.
