About the Gallery

The Harlequin Gallery, run by John Rastall, is one of the few galleries in the UK that specializes in exhibitions of some of the World's finest contemporary and classical studio pottery. We also stock and exhibit a limited range of paintings, prints and sculpture.

The gallery has been in existence since 1990 and is situated in Greenwich, which is just a few miles from Central London. It is a short walk from Greenwich station on the Docklands Light Railway (DLR) but for more details please click on the icon above "Contact Us" at the bottom of the page.

A significant amount of both new and old work is available at all times but it is always best to contact the gallery before visiting, if you wish to see something specific.

The gallery stocks what it considers to be the finest pottery being produced today and believes that many British potters are producing work that falls into this category, despite the media being obsessed with sixth rate, over hyped expensive tat from just a few untalented individuals.

Details of potters and other artists, whose work is available on a regular basis, can be obtained by clicking on the icon above "Artists" below.

Details of current and forthcoming exhibitions can be found by clicking on the icon above "Exhibitions" below.

Finally I hope that you enjoy the web site and, as customers or potential customers of the gallery, please feel free to print any of the details from the site for your own personal use. However, please note that the images and text can not be reproduced even with minor modifications for distribution, publication or dissemination without the prior permission of John Rastall.
