SHINSAKU HAMADA (b. 1929) Tall vase originally exhibited in a joint exhibition with Tatsuzo Shimaoka at the Liberty Gallery, Liberty's, London. Unmarked. It was acquired by me from one of the ladies that organised the exhibition in Liberty's. The height is 18.3 cm and the maximum external diameter is 9.4 cm (3.7 inches). Price £145
YASUTAKA SHIMIZU (b. 1947) Oil spot chawan with impressed seal mark and signed wooden box. The maximum height is 6.3 cm (2.5 inches) and the maximum external diameter is 14.0 cm (5.5 inches). He is the son of NLT, Uichi Shimizu and he has his own work in the Morikami Museum Intangible Treasures collection. £145
TADASHI YOSHIMOTO (b. 1943) Bizen bowl with rice straw ash pattern; incised potter's signature and signed wooden box. Yoshimoto san was designated a Human Intangible Cultural Treasure of Okayama Prefecture in 2007. The maximum height is 7.9 cm (3.1 inches) and the maximum external diameter is 15.7 cm (6.2 inches) £145
