The Harlequin Gallery is delighted to be collaborating with Afridi in their new exhibition space in Royal Hospital Road, Chelsea, especially with the ceramic exhibitions to be held there.
It is fitting that the first of these should be an exhibition of both ceramics and 2D work by Dan Kelly, as Dan has been associated with the Harlequin for over 30 years.
I have always admired Dan’s single mindedness and dedication to his art and am excited to see what the November exhibition reveals. It is inspired by the architecture, some of it long gone, in the area of South London where he has spent virtually all his life. An area that I also know from when I first came to London in 1973.
